A delicious meal - inktober day 18 🍄
(Thanks to my friend Miles who provided photo references for this drawing 🤗)
It’s time for me to say goodbye to this year’s inktober… Every year, I have learnt something from this challenge... This year, I am learning to stop in the middle. 😌 I am not able to commit myself as mush as I would have wished – the truth is I don’t want to put my life on hold for a month. Running after time as much as running after ideas is not a great feeling. I dislike the pressure to rush for the sake of completing a drawing a day. I have realised the drawings I now enjoy creating require time… I have struggled with that idea, but I have to make peace with it I guess. 🙈 As Socrates would say, know thyself! 🤓
Well, goodbye for now, but not for long hopefully. It was nice while it lasted. Good luck to my fellow artists! 🙌🏻.

A crossing - inktober day 14 🌊⛵️
Today's piece is far from being *good*, but life is too short to spend my evening getting the *perfect* line and composition when I could be knitting instead... 🧶😬 (or watching Princess Tutu ✨🩰✨).
P.S. don’t expect a drawing from me tomorrow! 🙈

A discovery - inktober day 8 🔮
I overdid this one at the very end, so I am obviously slightly frustrated with myself… 🙃 But at leat, I tried new things. Perfectionism, be damn.

Outward bound 🕊🧳🗝
I want to try something new for this inktober: working only with one pencil (Delft Blue from my Polychromos set) and adding a touch of colour with watercolours. 😊
Here is my first entry, from prompts list.
