This week we used coloured inks and Chinese brushes on cotton rag paper for the first time. We had a few warm up activities getting to grips with the Chinese brushes and all the different marks you can make with them. We created Chinese Brush landscapes .

Very social Afternoon at Evie’s Fundraising
Thanks to everyone who donated a piece of artwork it was a lovely display. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it a very enjoyable afternoon. Also big thanks to anyone that baked and helped with running the stalls.

Please come and visit us at St John’s Hall, Meadowfield, DH7 8RP for our latest Art exhibition with all proceeds going to Evie Meg fundraising. The Exhibition is on Sunday 12th May 3.00p.m. to 6.00 p.m. (please park in the sports centre car park as limited parking at the hall)
There will also be a raffle, tombola’s, and second hand book sale. Also food a drink at minimal cost.
