A fresh, eclectic weekend festival of jazz in Durham city. DJAZZ: The Durham City Jazz Festival was an annual festival produced by AT THE ROOT and Empty Shop.

Established in 2017 to promote collaboration and diversity in the jazz scene, DJAZZ offered a fresh take on the festival format. The Covid-19 pandemic put a halt to the 4th and 5th editions of the festival and we took the decision to go on indefinite hiatus.
