“A Bug-Tastic Day to Remember in Early Years and Key Stage 1! Our pupils had an unforgettable hands on learning experience as we welcomed bugsnstuff into school for a series of exciting and educational workshops. Meeting Some Incredible “Mega” Creatures! The children were thrilled to come face to face with an amazing range of insect, arachnid and reptile creatures. From stick insects and beetles to lizards and snakes, pupils learned fascinating facts about each animal and discovered how they live, move and survive in different environments. Learning Through Courage and Curiosity. Many pupils showed great bravery as they had the opportunity to carefully handle some of the animals, developing confidence, curiosity and respect for living things. The experience encouraged thoughtful questions, excitement and a real sense of wonder. A Truly Memorable Experience. Highlights of the day included encountering a tarantula, snake, scorpion, stick insect, lizard and beetles - bringing learning vividly to life and creating memories that will last a long time. This visit was a fantastic way to enrich our science and understanding of the natural world, while inspiring awe and enthusiasm in our youngest learners. A huge thank you to Guy for a truly memorable and engaging day!”

We were stopped twice by Sri Lanka's Department of Wildlife Conservation officers accompanied by the local Police. They searched our van and bags as they take wildlife protection seriously but as we take nothing but video and photos, all went well. We commended them on a job well done and once we explained our project, they wanted selfies with us!
