Our Story
DDF is an annual student run drama festival, featuring 9 new plays and a scratch night of work all written by students from Durham University. Anyone can enter, no matter how much or little experience you have, no matter how crazy your idea. If you want to create a piece of theatre and have it seen, this is your chance. Whether it's an hour long or just ten minutes, whether it's a monologue or solely interpretive dance, whether it's based in a theatre or outside on the street, we want to hear about it.
If you want to get involved but writing isn't your thing, interviews and auditions for directors, actors,tech crew and volunteers will be announced shortly and be available on the page -- so watch this space!
