It is the last few weeks to catch exhibition ‘Pages of my Mind’ in the Dead Dog Gallery.
Open Thursdays and Fridays 10 - 4pm until Friday 13th December. Free entry.
Cloe Sparrow is an artist, bookbinder and arts educator based in Durham. Her first solo exhibition explores the intimate connection between artistic expression and mental health.
Through a collection of deeply personal artworks and journal entries, insight can be gained into how art and journaling can promote mental well-being and provide solace in times of struggle.
Additionally, an interactive creative space and communal gallery wall will allow visitors to engage directly with the exhibition, providing an experience that highlights the therapeutic benefits of mindful art making.

Thank you to everyone who attended the opening event for artist in residence Cloe Sparrow’s exhibition, Pages of my Mind.
Thank you also to the Right Worshipful Mayor of Durham who joined us to celebrate this event.
The exhibition is now open to the public from 10am - 4pm on Thursdays and Fridays until the 13th of December.
This exhibition is complemented by a series of mindful journaling workshops which will take place in the .

Leah Eason, Kerys Thexton and Taegan Webley were selected for the pilot of our Emerging Artist in Residence programme (E-AiR). Funded by The Gillian Dickinson Trust, these three artists have undertaken a summer residency to further develop their professional practice and curate their first independent exhibition within a gallery context. Triumvirate celebrates the talent of Eason, Thexton and Webley whilst increasing professional exposure in support of their progression to undergraduate study.

The exhibition launches with a preview event on Thursday 13th June 5 - 7pm in the and will open every subsequent Thursday 10 - 4pm. The final opportunity to view the exhibition will be Thursday 18th July.

WREATH WORKSHOP: 🌷
We hosted first wreath making shop on Friday 1st March which was a huge success!
The next workshop will be on Saturday 25th May 2-4pm.

SPRING WREATH WORKSHOP:🐣
We are hosting a Spring/Summer artificial wreath workshop on Friday the 1st March, 5-7pm.It’s 2 hours of fun filled craft, making your very own artificial wreath to take home!
Price is £45 pp and all materials are included with tea, coffee and cakes provided. (£10 non refundable deposit required when booking to secure a place, this will leave £35 to pay on the 19th February).
