Look what's back for 2023!

On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February, Durham city centre will be home to an exciting Steampunk themed trail of Ice Sculptures for the whole family to enjoy.

Join us in the city from 10am to 6.15pm each day, view the sculptures, watch the live demonstrations, enjoy our interactive displays and stay for the exciting finale beginning at 6pm. Enjoy a day jam packed with events and entertainment and of course take some time to explore the beautiful Durham City Centre.

The event is FREE for all the family to enjoy and no booking or tickets are required.

Last years event was fabulous so don't miss out this time!

Behold the updated board of events & workshops! Chokka block with some absolute crackers for the first half of 2023.

We cherry pick the workshop leaders from the best of the best. We limit our class sizes to ensure you get the support and guidance you need. We hold them in our gallery space so you’re surrounded by inspiration. We think this adds up to an experience that will bring out the best in all participants and be remembered.

Why not say that an extra £10 of your weekly spend will not be spent online or with big business ... but will be spent with small local businesses in the heart of Durham? Lots and lots and lots of lovely stock has landed today in Crafty-Nook’s new Stall 67-73 in Durham Indoor Market. It’s starting to look a lot better now that Jon has built the new counter and some great shelving.
