Finally complete🐿🐿🐿. Native British Red Squirrel.

This project started when I was walking the dogs one day and I found the knotted, rotten log that the Squirrel is now mounted too. I thought this would make a brilliant piece for a sculpture. It's been dried for a few years and treated.

Squirrel hand carved from Cherry wood.

To be used a display piece for the Weardale Red Squirrel group at their many events and they do a fantastic job in helping to bring back our Red Squirrels and inform the public of their work and the Red Squirrel.👏

From wood to Resin, fits great on the Ramside concierge buggy.

Repair job done on the one that broke, came flying off the lathe, so back filled it with different coloured resin

BELTED GALLOWAY COW- my second beltie commission. Had to keep this one secret until after clients partners birthday.

Made from English Oak that's been dyed. The cow is 30cm in length.

Been a bit quiet on social media of late, my baby boy has been keeping me occupied, but not say I haven't still been busy in the workshop.

So the Fiat Ducato camper is near completion, first coat of varnish and assembly of parts today, wheels have been glued on. A few areas to touch up.

Our third edition to the family is home, little Fraser, 6 weeks prem. See he already has the love of our Basset.

First tyre made for the campervan, 26mm Diameter, made from Yew with a Danish oil over the top

Steady over the Bridge now lass - this has been a great display piece to have in the craft shows and loved making it, I will definitely be making more scenic carvings in the future.
