What a fantastic day at the Houghton-le-Spring Toy Fair! 😊

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by my stall, chatted about wildlife, education, and books, and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived.

I'm delighted to say that several of my children's books found new homes today and are now making their way to North Tyneside, Cambridge, and even Switzerland! 🌍📚

One of the highlights of the day was hearing such lovely feedback. Visitors described the books as beautiful and told me how much they loved the stories, characters, and illustrations. Many commented on how eye-catching they were, which is always wonderful to hear after all the time and care that goes into creating them.

Thank you to everyone who supported a small independent author today. Every book purchased helps me continue creating wildlife-inspired stories that encourage children to learn about and connect with the natural world.

My name is Amanda. I'm an ex-zookeeper, animal management lecturer, children's author and founder of Amanda's Creature Comforts CIC. I've spent my career putting extraordinary animals in front of people and watching something wake up in them.
