Hi, welcome to Fox Pond Felts x I started needle felting 2 years ago and quickly became addicted to this amazing craft!
Just to make you aware these items are NOT toys. They are decorative models made solely from UK sheeps wool, some larger pieces have a wire armature which acts as a frame or skeleton to build up the wool on. Some also have small glass or bead eyes.
They need to be handled gently and please keep them out of reach of your real furry friends- cats and dogs are both attracted to them!
Each piece takes many hours as the loose fleece wool is stabbed repeatedly with a single barbed needle which slowly but surely meshes the wool fibres together into a solid shape. It's like sculpting but with wool!
