We’re delighted to welcome James Watts back to Driffield RUFC as both a player and our new Backs Coach for the upcoming season.

Since leaving the club two years ago, James has gone from strength to strength — winning National 2 with Leeds Tykes, enjoying a standout season with Hull Ionians, and earning representative honours with Yorkshire.

A proven leader on and off the field, Watty returns with over 1,000 points scored for Driffield RUFC, winners’ medals in both the Papa Johns Cup and Yorkshire Cup.

An exciting addition to the coaching setup and another familiar face for the 100th year 💙🖤🤍
