Helping 100+ UK Schools Create Phone-Free Campuses with Secure Phone Pouches — and Lockers That Pay for Themselves

08/05/2026

Everything has gone up.

Manufacturing.
Shipping.
Labour.
Software.
Merchant fees.

So what do most companies do?

Put their prices up.

We didn’t.

Since day one, our lowest locker offering has stayed at just £1.65 per month.

Why?

Because schools are under pressure.
Parents are under pressure.
And making student life easier shouldn’t become another financial headache.

But here’s the part I’m most proud of…

By building relationships with over 15,000 happy parents, we’ve now been able to leverage partner savings and offers that allow us to provide lockers completely FREE to both the parent and the school.

That’s the kind of model we believe education suppliers should be building.

Less pressure.
More value.
Better support for schools and families.

A genuine win-win.

Most schools we speak to already have lockers.

They’re just not working.

Keys get lost.
Doors get damaged.
No one wants to manage them.
So they sit there… unused or ignored.

At the same time, students are carrying everything around all day.

And staff end up dealing with the fallout.

Here’s the part that surprises people:

👉 You don’t need budget to fix it.

We install, manage and maintain a full locker system.

No cost to the school.
No admin for staff.
No capital spend.

Parents handle bookings.
We handle everything else.

Simple.

If your lockers aren’t being used properly, or you’ve written them off completely, it’s worth a conversation.

Would your school benefit from a system that actually runs itself?

I saw a photo this week of students revising for an exam…

on IV drips.

At first I thought it was fake.

It wasn’t.

It’s from China’s Gaokao — a single exam taken by 13.4 million students that can determine their entire future.

Some students study 15+ hours a day preparing for it.

Only 40% get into any university.
Around 5% make it to the elite ones.

That level of pressure produces incredible academic results.

But it also raises a serious question.

When does pushing students to succeed become pushing them too far?

Would you build an education system around one life-defining exam?

Or is there a better way?

Schools rarely struggle with the big things.

It’s the small jobs that quietly take up time.

Locker allocations.
Lost keys.
Parent queries.

Individually they’re simple.
Together they create constant admin.

That’s why more schools are starting to outsource small operational tasks.

Not because they can’t do them.

Because their time is better spent elsewhere.

The small school service nobody talks about… but it quietly eats time and money Title: The small school service nobody talks about… but it quietly eats time and money I was reading about a school trust recently facing a £9.2 million deficit across 25 schools.

No more lost keys.
No more broken locks.
No more excuses like “I forgot my locker key.”

Schools told us keys were the real problem… so we removed them.

Locker Space converts existing lockers to simple code access.
No cost to the school. Parents book online.

Simple lockers. Zero key drama. 🔑

Phone bans in schools aren’t a debate anymore.
They’re a governance decision.

Nearly 40% of education systems globally now restrict student phone use.
Australia? Done.
France, Netherlands, New Zealand? Implemented.
More US states adding legislation each year.

In the UK, we’re in the “inevitable” phase.

For governors and MAT leaders, this isn’t about being anti-tech.

It’s about:

• Safeguarding risk
• Behaviour standards
• Academic focus
• Reputational exposure

One viral corridor video can undo years of culture building.

The real issue isn’t “Should we ban phones?”

It’s “Do we have a system that actually works?”

Because policy without structure equals daily confrontation.

Early movers shape the culture.
Late movers manage the fallout.

If you sit on a board, here’s the question:

Are you leading this change, or waiting to be forced into it?

Kids shouldn’t be carrying half their bedroom on their back.

Yet every September we see it.
Oversized bags.
Shoulders hunched.
Parents worrying about posture.

Here’s the simple fix.

We install lockers in schools completely free of charge.
No cost to the school.
No leasing fees.
No budget meetings about it.

Parents rent them from as little as 5p a day.

That’s it.

Kids carry what they need for that lesson, not for the entire week.
Less strain.
Less lost kit.
Less chaos at the end of the day.

Sometimes the best solution isn’t complicated.
It’s just practical.

If your school wants to lighten the load without spending a penny, we should talk.
