Unfortunately this ash tree was in heavy decline. The split you can see in the photo was about 2 metres up. Lots of stresses on it from the weight above. Amazing it hadn't failed already.

The roots from these trees had grown into the drains. So unfortunately they had to come down.
The trusty TR6P chipping all the branches with ease.

Another day removing another neglected cypress from a property on the Black Isle.

A couple of wee videos (both sped up) of a job this week.
Unfortunately the climbing video, my phone was blown over in the wind hence only half the job recorded. Roddy from Fairfield Highland was on the saw for the felling of the big tree with his Stihl 661.
