Sometimes clients have a very clear idea of what they would like on their shop window but most of the time they leave it up to me to come up with a design. I take this as a great compliment 😊 and I think this is my favourite part of the process. Getting my laptop out and mocking up a design on Canva. Playing around with different colour palettes and various elements creating a cohesive design that I know I will be able to paint on a window. Because there’s no point creating a design that’s too hard to paint!
On this occasion I uploaded the image I created in Canva and gave Dola the window measurements and she calculated all the spacing for me. I’d never done this before and I must say I was amazed by the accuracy and it saved my little brain from getting completely frazzled 😵💫 AI has its uses in some cases I must say.
So this is how I work from start to finish, from an idea in my head to the painting on the window 🙂
Sometimes you just go with the flow and paint imaginary flowers that pop into your head 😵💫
I did something different today… I painted my first ever mural… A tree on a playroom wall😝 and I’m very pleased with how it turned out but more importantly the client loves it so very happy and relieved at the same time😃

Had the best time painting this lovely bakery this morning 🎂🧁🍰. I will always be grateful to my local hair salon for allowing me to decorate their window two years ago. I had been wanting to try window painting for some time and plucked up the courage to ask them and they said yes! They then became my biggest client and my favourite window to paint 🎨🩷
