It’s tabletop day!
Today we held a 35 strong tabletop session for Keswick Convention, a 21 day long Christian event in the Lake District.
Partners from across the events sector and statutory agencies came together to test our plans and responses to a series of business as usual and extraordinary scenarios.
We’ve gone away with lists of things we’re getting right but crucially things we need to adapt and amend too - the perfect outcome of any TTX!
Thanks to all those who travelled from Cumbria, Manchester, Coventry and London to be with us and here’s to a safe and successful Convention in a few weeks time!

Radio 1’s Big Weekend!
It was a joy to continue to support BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend for the 4th consecutive year!
Our Incident Management Portal was deployed into the on-site multi agency control room and handled communication, information sharing and record keeping across more than a dozen teams!

Wow Coventry! What a day!
It has been an absolute delight to support the delivery of WE ARE BACK: LIVE! to celebrate Coventry City’s promotion to the Premier League!
Working alongside our clients and partners at and , we deployed teams to co-ordinate 6 separate control rooms across the city!
Powered by our Incident Management Portal and our temporary ‘control room in a box’ kits, half a dozen control rooms came together to produce a phenomenal day of celebration for the club and fans.

Event Controllers assemble!
We’re relaunching our hunt for the best event controllers that the North West has to offer! If regular freelance work in the ‘off season’ (and some of the ‘on season’ too!) sounds like your vibe and you meet the criteria below then sign up! Link in bio
Experience in one of the following:
- Event Control Manager experience on at least 10 shows above 10,000 capacity
- Event Controller / Logger experience on at least 10 shows above 5,000 capacity
- Police, Ambulance or Fire Control Room Operator or above
Plus:
- A clean DBS check
- A valid SIA CCTV Licence
- A great radio voice and a desire to support the frontline teams, every time
- Excellent logging abilities
- Ability to multi-task, risk assess and prioritise incidents
- Knowledge and understanding of JESIP and how they work within the events world
Desirable: (Meet all the above and have the below? Gold star!)
- Knowledge of the THRIVE Risk Assessment model
- NPSA Control Room Operators Course
- MIMMS
- Other control room qualifications or experience (UK Resilience Academy etc)

It was a delight to return as the Event Control Room provider for Battersea Park Fireworks for the third year running!
A bigger room with more agencies than ever before, all of whom worked together to co-ordinate the safe operation of one of the country’s biggest fireworks displays! From the routine to the weird, concerning to the mundane; every incident was handled with true professionalism.
Alongside the fireworks, this weekend we’ve also had teams deployed at a boxing event in the North West and in London!

What. A. Season.
Over the past 5 months, we’ve supported the global events industry in ways we could’ve only dreamed of when we began.
This summer, we’ve deployed hundreds of staff across dozens of concerts, sports events, races, beach parties and raves. We’ve helped to open gates for the best days of people’s lives, and dispatched resources to help them on some of their worst days.
In addition to our fantastic teams, in 2025 our software has been deployed at no less than 27 festivals and outdoor events and used by over 100 different agencies and suppliers.
To our clients, thank you for continuing to trust us.

We’ve just wrapped up on one of our favourite shows of the year, !
Over the course of the 4 day, 24 hour festival we deployed a highly skilled team of controllers, gate managers and operations managers.
It’s always a pleasure to work alongside some of the best companies in the industry on this truly unique show!
