pockets of joy the past 5 weeks🫧
the worlds been very loud and the plates have to keep spinning but the sunshine has made everything better.
very lucky to have been away every weekend for the past month but i’m feeling extra grateful for a lie in this morning in my own bed.

sinking into stillness 🫧
my worldwide tour of outdoor baths continues and has taken me to a hidden spot in the cornish countryside

has always been our go to for celebrations. when i moved to cornwall 14 years ago, its been the place we’ve celebrated hen do’s, birthdays, anniversaries, welcome homes and the aqua club has always been the mood booster we always need.
our 3 course lunch at on Wednesday was a mid week treat for and i to celebrate some travel plans we’re currently making 👀
we started with cocktails and ended with the most delicious rhubarb soufflé and layered pink lady apple pie. if there too much choice on the full restaurant menu, a weekly set 3 course lunch menu is available monday to saturday for £25.

i knew nothing about reformer pilates before going to ambers smooth moves class, so much so, i didnt realise i was supposed to wear grippy socks!
welcomed with a cup of ginger tea, amber talked me through the reformer, i checked i wasn’t going to be flung backwards off it like the videos on tiktok and then she set it to suit my super long limbs (5ft 11 which is mostly leg)!
we started slow, until about half way when it got a lil spicy and sweaty on the glutes 🌶️
the most perfect introduction to reformer, in the most beautiful studio with the most gorgeous teacher 🫶🏼

when your galentines dinner date turns into hours of giggles and travel plans because we’re catching flights not feelings 🛫🌏
i started the year on the other side of the world and then jumped straight back into work when i got home, so it was lovely to sit and laugh with .brows over dinner, drinks and then tea in bed.
