Well Gisburne Park Pop Up I cannot believe what was witnessed tonight on the streets of Gisburn after your event. A poor young man was begging for others to stop from giving him a beating and full force kicks to the head. It was traumatising to watch and upsetting. The culprits were then seen throwing debris, stones and branches at cars from the cemetery as people in cars were asking them to stop the horrific act of violence. I thought this was a family park and would be better attended with security whilst leaving the event. I pray that the man who received such an awful act of violence is ok and will recover ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

Disappointing Incident ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Would call it more than that ๐Ÿ˜

Disappointing incident in Blackburn this evening. Officers have attended a report of a significant breach of Covid restrictions, and found over 100 guests at a wedding reception. This is a clear breach of both local and national restrictions that puts everyone attending at risk. Officers have engaged with the attendees and at police instruction the gathering was dispersed without further issue.

Please work with us to help keep everyone safe by following the guidelines and restrictions.

Well Done Ribble Valley Police ๐Ÿ‘

Officers from Pendle Team 4 have been out and about in our rural areas after an increase in complaints of poaching incidents and theft of farming equipment. We would like to thank all those involved on Wednesday night in the pursuit of a group of males seen hunting with dogs on farm land in the Trawden area. Despite their best efforts two of the three males were detained as they tried to use the river to escape the area.
Both reported for Summons for Daytime Poaching.
Today a further two males have in the early hours of the morning, been intercepted and deterred from entering private land with lurchers and lamping equipment. Neither male had permission to hunt on the land. They were forced to quit the land and leave the area.

[06/30/20]   Right, so everyone has got a bit over-excited about Boris and his latest relaxing of the rules. Yes, we all need a haircut ๐Ÿ’‡โ€โ™€๏ธ yes, weโ€™d love to visit the pub, yes, we would like to take (and leave) our children at the Zoo.... but letโ€™s be very clear. LOCKDOWN IS NOT OVER!!!! โ›”๏ธ Nobody knows what is round the corner! Boris doesnโ€™t know, Hancock doesnโ€™t know, medical experts donโ€™t know and top scientists donโ€™t
This is totally the blind leading the blind. So, I suggest that from July 4th, we follow these simple rules.

Beacon Fell Country Park

This is disgusting. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก
For what reason can people not respect our beautiful countryside ?
Would you leave your own gardens or surroundings like this?
There are so many posts on social media with the same unbelievable behaviour.
Come on people take your rubbish home, it is really NOT that difficult !!
#tidyup #moveyourrubbush #pleasestop #takeithome

If you ever wondered how much rubbish we have to deal with at Beacon fell when the weather is warm , these pics might give you an idea .of course this is compounded by the the current corona crisis as we have have had many more visitors some of whom really do not know how to respect the countryside.
