Learning to drive at this time of year is harder- especially with the very wet conditions we have had recently. Some people have to learn after work which means driving in the dark and the wet from Day 1.
Once they’ve mastered the basics, at some point we have to venture on to bigger roads with other road users. If you see a nervous learner at this time of year, please bear in mind, it might be their first time off the Nursery Routes. Most of the drivers we have encountered recently have been fab- and to you a big THANK YOU and thumbs up!
If you’ve been less than patient with a learner recently, please remember that one day, that driver could be your child, or grandchild- we’re sorry if you’re journey time has been slightly delayed- but being aggressive really won’t help- it will probably just delay you a little longer! 🤷🏼‍♀️
