Clockwork Building and Maintenance

Our vision is to be the number one property maintenance company in South Wales that is most recommended by its customers. We look to incite a change in the perception of the building and maintenance industry, promoting professionalism and achieving the highest standards in everything we do.

Working for Clockwork is an exciting challenge and can vary from day-to-day to small-scale maintenance jobs in tenanted properties, to office refurbishments and larger-scale projects, such as new house builds and HMO property works. So whether your experience is in maintenance or construction, you can gain valuable experience on multiple projects with Clockwork.

We have a full-time permanent opening for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative who specialises in a sole trade, to work as part of an already established team. Based in Cardiff, we provide reactive, planned, and on-call maintenance services in South Wales.

Role Requirements

Candidates should possess proven experience and qualifications in one of the following as well as an ability to work on a multi-skilled basis;

Carpentry
Plastering
Painting & decorating
Plumbing
Roofing
What we’re looking for

We’re a customer-focused organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll not only have proven experience and/or qualifications but you’ll also have good problem-solving ability, great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

Demonstrable competence within required core trade.
Various multi-trade skills and experience, sufficient to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first-time fix).
Experience of working in a customer-focused environment within allocated time frames.
Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information using a phone app.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational and time management skills.
Ability to make decisions and solve problems seeking any advice required.
Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
Ability to operate safely having taken into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks.

Competitive salary of upto £27,040
