The Control Freq Story
Control Freq was started in 2007 to develop access control using mobile technology.
Eleven years ago, the basic concept was to utilise mobile phones as remote controls, instead of keyfobs, to open security gates. Attempting to introduce mobile technology 3 months before the first iPhone wasn’t very successful.
Control Freq persevered to introduce one of the first GSM intercoms ever produced. This was a learning curve which saw the company’s focus on mobile technology take firm hold for the future to come, resulting in a what is a now a company developing a variety of solutions, for a range of applications across global industries, using mobile technology exclusively.
Control Freq now creates numerous mobile tech solutions using 3G/4G electronics for security, alarm monitoring, access control, intercom, industrial control and revenue generation/protection. With in-house design-develop-build capability and a full prototyping workshop, Control Freq offer a complete custom design and branding service.
