This team MADE IT HAPPEN today. We were flat out from start to finish, working hard to serve all of our amazing customers. Not pictured are our fabulous driver Louise and my mum, Teresa, who were both out delivering beautiful bouquets all day, far too busy to pose for photos with us!

Our little team was hit hard with COVID-enforced absences in the run up to Mother’s Day and at times it was all looking a bit scary and as though we could be seriously understaffed for our busiest weekend of the year. However, each and every member of the team stepped up to fill in and do what they could to cover for each other and made sure the plans for the week stayed on course. I’m feeling very lucky and happy to have such an incredible team who not only make work easier but also a hell of a lot more fun!

According to Google, the first day of spring will be on 20th March this year. Well we got a bit sick of waiting so yesterday we paid a visit to our friends at oeuf.cafe and kicked things off a little early.

It’s always an absolute pleasure to decorate the entrance at this fabulous brunch spot in Hove. That doorway was simply made to be surrounded by flowers and we feel very lucky to be the ones that get to do it.

Some good news. We will be re-opening on Monday 7th, well in time for Mothers Day which is on 27th March. Apologies that you've had to wait so long. Ying would have wanted us to carry on so we are. Jason will be opening the shop 10 til 4 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Thanks to Linden Tree Flowers for stocking some of our chocolates while we were unable to open.

We’re keeping the flowers safely inside again today as it’s still a bit windy out…but we are open as usual with lots of fresh bouquets ready to go and our fabulous selection of houseplants. See you soon!

Deep in the Valentine’s madness today Lucy’s husband Mike (our delivery driver for the day) stopped in to see “how hard it can really be” to make a dozen red roses. What do you make of his first attempt? We don’t think it’s a COMPLETE disaster but all the same we’ll keep him to driving and coffee-fetching duties for the time being!
Don’t worry, we won’t be sending this bouquet out as we remade it soon after the photo was taken (don’t tell Mike 😉)

We’re sorry if we missed you this afternoon, we closed up a little early to give our friends at oeuf.cafe a new year makeover.

The brief was cheerful, fresh and fun, a tonic to the January blues and we reckon it provides just that! They are launching a new menu tomorrow so get yourself booked in for delicious food in their gorgeous restaurant on Third Avenue and remember to tag us in your photos outside!

MERRY CHRISTMAS from us all here at Linden Tree Flowers.

We are open 9am-midday today, we have very little left in the way of fresh flowers but some lovely planted gifts and, of course, lots of gorgeous houseplants for anyone needing last minute gifts.

Thank you to all of our customers for another amazing, although challenging, year. We feel so lucky to be based in such a great community and have loved being able to welcome so many people back to our festive workshops this year as well as serving you all face to face again!

After today the shop will be closed until Tuesday 4th January to allow us a little rest. You may see us inside the shop next week working on a few orders so feel free to give us a wave and we look forward to seeing you all again in the new year!
