Our co-founder Harley spent the day volunteering at The Welbeloved Club yesterday, spreading a bit of Christmas cheer and reminding us what this time of year is really about 🎄💛

Today we’re sharing some bittersweet news from Kin 💛

Our lovely Holly is moving on from recruitment, and while we’re so sad to see her go, we couldn’t be prouder of everything she’s achieved… especially in a market that hasn’t made anything easy this year.

From day one, Holly has brought kindness, compassion, patience, infectious energy, her love of books, and a very healthy level of Taylor Swift obsession to Kin. The journey of setting up this business simply wouldn’t have been the same without her.

She’s been a huge part of our story, our little team and our daily lives. And while we won’t be working together day-to-day anymore, she’ll always be part of our Kin family… just in a different way now.

Holly, you’ll be missed more than you know, but we’ll be cheering you on from the side-lines forever. 💌

There’s always something powerful about networking/being in a room full of people sharing their experiences, stories and ideas about building businesses and communities.

Last week our co-founders Harriet and Harley did exactly that by attended the Festival of Business, where over 100 local Essex based companies came together to connect, collaborate, and celebrate ambition in all its forms.

Listening to George Clarke talk so openly about his journey was a reminder that storytelling is at the heart of everything, whether you’re building a business, a brand or a community.

Events like this show just how much can happen when people come together to share experiences and ideas. 💡

🏡 Looking for in and around to support a local landmark!

Our lovely friends at Fulbourn Windmill are looking for new members to join as or , helping to take on three key roles.

These roles will be central to the future of the organisation, and if you are interested in leading these efforts, they would love to hear from you.

🧡 Event Coordinator - to coordinate activities at the mill and participate in village functions. This role involves keeping the community informed about the project and opportunities to tour the mill.

🧡 Social Media Content Creator - they'll have access to all the major platforms and a vast library of historical information, with new activities happening all the time. The goal is to transform this information into an exciting, modern, and engaging content strategy for their social media channels.

🧡 Fundraising Manager - once the restoration is complete, there will be significant ongoing maintenance needed as well as developing the visitor experience. To sustain the mill’s operation for many years, regular fundraising will be essential. Developing and implementing a strategy to ensure a consistent flow of funds is key to the long-term viability of the mill.
