Replacing the old board with a new upgraded unit to improve safety, reliability and bring everything up to current standards. It's always satisfying seeing that neat and tidy finished result 🔥

We recently carried out a clean and professional EV charger installation, upgrading this property to support reliable home charging 🚗⚡🔌

What we found:
❌ The existing consumer unit wasn’t quite ready for an EV setup
❌ No surge protection device
❌ Incorrect/insufficient RCD protection
❌ Not enough spare ways in the main board

What we did:
✅ Installed an additional consumer unit
✅ Spliced into the main tails safely and neatly
✅ Created a dedicated EV charging circuit
✅ Ran EV Ultra cable clipped discreetly over the garage door
✅ Finished into a Hypervolt Home Pro 3 (5m tethered unit)
✅ Installed CT clamp for dynamic load balancing
✅ Used discreet cable clips for a more professional finish
