Since 1996, I've been collecting Star Wars signatures in my Star Wars Chronicles book.

It's been an amazing journey meeting so many cast & crew members along the way,& now I’d love to share my collection with fans from a galaxy far, far away!

STARFURY – PREP NIGHT

Really looking forward to getting started with preparations for this weekend's Starfury event.

It feels like ages since I've attended a convention, and I'm genuinely excited to be meeting for the first Felicity Jones, John Boyega, and the lovely Genevieve O'Reilly.

I'm also looking forward to catching up with good friends and fellow autograph collectors, as well as hopefully meeting some like-minded fans along the way.

Roll on the weekend!

RIP Brian Johnson
Very sad to learn this week of the passing of special effects legend Brian Johnson this week.

His incredible work helped bring some of cinema’s most iconic moments to life, including his contributions to The Empire Strikes Back

I was fortunate enough to meet Brian a few times over the years, and it was always a privilege to spend time with someone whose creativity and talent left such a lasting mark on the film industry.

His legacy will continue to inspire generations of filmmakers and fans alike.

May the Force be with you, Brian

RIP Ken Coombs

I was saddened to hear of the passing of actor Ken Coombs, who worked on Return of the Jedi and many other fantastic films tv shows throughout his career.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ken several times over the years at various conventions, and he was always a true gentleman friendly, gracious, and generous with his time.

My thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He will be greatly missed

🎬✨ BEHIND THE SCENES AT BBC ANTIQUES ROADSHOW ✨🎬

Today I had the pleasure of attending the BBC Antiques Roadshow at the historic grounds of Dartington Hall in Devon.

I brought along my signed Jedi poster, a couple of signed books, and some crew memorabilia, hoping to share a few special pieces.

After arriving just before 9am and ma7king it through security, there was a bit of a wait while I met the organisers and tried to figure out exactly where I needed to be.

After three attempts, I was thankfully guided by a lovely BBC employee to presenter Mark Hill, who immediately took a keen interest in the signed poster.

Then came the unexpected part… nearly 3 hours waiting in the green room while the BBC legal team reviewed whether the poster could be filmed due to possible copyright considerations.

The good news? 😀

Clearance was finally given and the poster was filmed!

Sadly, there wasn’t much interest in the signed books, but overall it was a fantastic day, a great experience, and exciting to be part of the filming process.

Now it’s fingers crossed that the footage makes it to air 🤞🏻📺

MANDALORIAN & GROGU – Film Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just got back from watching Mandalorian & Grogu and really enjoyed it!

Some moments in the film gave me strong The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi vibes, which was a great touch for long-time fans.

Loved the city parts of the film, reminded me of Bladerunner, nice little nod to the dropshot in Aliens aswell.

I also loved the new music throughout the film, and overall I thought it was a solid addition to the Mandalorian universe.

Enjoyed it for what it is and would definitely recommend watching it on the big screen

Big thanks to Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni & the cast and crew who made this an enjoyable watch defo going again

GERRY GAVIGAN - 2nd Unit A.D
Met Gerry Gavigan – 2nd Unit Assistant Director, and what an absolute pleasure it was.

It’s always special meeting someone who worked on Star Wars, but even more incredible when they helped bring the magic of A New Hope to life 50 years ago.

Gerry was a genuinely lovely chap, softly spoken with a warm Scottish accent and a strong handshake, and full of fascinating behind‑the‑scenes stories.

He worked on the iconic Tunisia scenes from A New Hope the very landscapes that introduced us to Luke Skywalker’s world.

Was great to add his autograph to my 30 year old book project with over 475 autographs

Shaken Not Stirred - Amberley Museum
Very early start and a long drive to Amberley Museum yesterday but the sunshine made it an absolutely perfect day out.

I finally got to attend my first Bond Convention and meet some amazing behind the camera guests who’ve worked not only on 007, but on Hollywood classics like Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

TERRY MADDEN - ANH 2nd Unit
ANTHONY WAYE - ANH 2nd Unit
GERRY GAVIGAN - ANH 2nd Unit
KEITH HAMSHERE - Still Photographer on SW Prequels

Exploring the chalk mines and museum grounds was incredible, especially knowing they were filming locations for Roger Moore’s final Bond film A View to a Kill

And the Aston Martins on display… those engines sounded unreal and the petrol fumes from some of the classic cars brought back some good memories

Such a fantastic day and great to meet so many like‑minded fans.

Highly recommend visiting the Amberley Museum a great day out and the staff where welcoming and helpful.
