Hi-De-Hi knock me down with a feathered duster I only had Su Pollard in my shop for a couple of bacon rolls !! She’s the star attraction The Pavilion Bournemouth Panto this year doing Snow White and the Seven Dwarves- what a perfectly lovely lady full of energy and life and enthusiasm and looking great - wishing her all the success over Christmas- she’s looking forward to lots of loud booing and cheering as the season properly kicks in so if you’re going to the Panto please don’t disappoint her !! Su Pollard - What a legend !! Lots of likes and ❤️ please !!!

🤫 We have so much news but can’t say until it goes live tomorrow…. Just for the moment we are happy to say we are slowly moving up the Tripadvisor ratings … 206 out of 492 so far but there’s much more excitement in next few days - we’ll keep you posted !!

Thanks for all the fab reviews from everyone whose been coming to our opening events we have started to appear on social media , google and Tripadvisor- 307/492 restaurants in Bournemouth isn’t a bad start - see you all next week !! Christmas only 23 days away - yikes !!

Volunteers Wanted !!!

Thank you to everyone who keeps offering to help - I’ve actually lost track now of who was offering what and when !!

1. I need help designing posters on “Canva” or similar App to use as social media posts and large A1 posters out side the shop - my notes are here - is that you ??

2. I need help clearing out the basement- can you sweep or pick up stuff and help clear the function room into the basement - can you help ??

3. Part time staff - can you make a sandwich or poor wine ?? Just to get up and running I need a few brave folks to help me get open - these will become paid jobs as soon as the money starts rolling in but if you can help I’m waiting to hear from you ??

Hello again everyone this is the plumber Sean Bishop who is the hero of the hour !! He has found the cause to the leak to our restaurant ceiling and it was a cracked waste pipe from the Cote brasserie kitchen above us 😡 He has done a temporary fix which is not ideal but will allow us to reopen next Monday 13th November. I will post more later on the pipes and then we can start with some proper ‘social media’ and promotions - his number is there on his van but if anyone has his links I would be grateful if you could add it and get this guy some more business - he’s excellent!! Good Morning everyone - oh gosh where to start - firstly thank you for all the help and encouragement from so many people it has been fantastic. BUT we have had somewhat of a disaster on Saturday for the soft opening night - water from the Cote Brasserie kitchen above us leaked into our restaurant just as we were serving customers and created a pool of water right by the serving area in the middle of the walkway through the shop. This leak first occurred a year ago and we were assured it had been repaired so we took on and redecorated the shop on that basis.

So unfortunately until this leak is finally resolved we can’t open as we envisaged. We are looking at all options. We would like to thank all the people that have put their time, money and effort into getting us to the launch 🚀 but take off is temporarily postponed, and particularly thank you to the fabulous chef whose food is amazing - hopefully we will see him again soon.

We are working 24hrs a day to resolve this and apologies if we don’t respond personally to everyone’s lovely texts of kindness and support but it is taking a toll on the Caters usual indomitable strength and resoluteness - we are absolutely fine and all will be fine we just need a little more time to clear the path to success.
