This was a testing project but who doesn’t love a challenge, so pleased with the results.

This new build property was without flooring so it was a privilege to do something a little different.

🔷 Full Rip Up and Redo🔷

PREVIOUS WORK NOT DONE BY MYSELF.

I got to this job not knowing what to expect, I was shocked when I started the process.

The previous floor had been done by a local building company, they had used LVT Click.

This wasn’t prepared correctly as you can see from the photos, cardboard and old plyboard had been left under the LVT click.

The plyboard that had been laid hadn’t been secured properly causing a wave effect in the finished product.

I then did the following to correct the work that had been done.

◽️ Rip up old flooring
◽️ Prepared using flooring gradable plyboard
◽️ Primer
◽️ Applied the screed using uzin nc196
◽️ Fusion LVT tiles in rustic swan laid using uzin 2000s pressure sensitive glue.

This job was a pleasure to do for a lovely lady who had been ripped off by a cowboy builder.
