Supplied and fit this new Fiamma carry bike lift for a happy customer this week. The rear panel needed a fill and re-spray due to the repositioning of the brackets. 👍👍👍👍

Due to further expansion Blackburn Caravan Services Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Caravan/Motorhome - service/repair technician to Join our busy workshop. Excellent working conditions and friendly atmosphere.

The role will include a variety of Duties including:
· General fault finding and repairs to 12v, mains 230v electrics, plumbing, heating and appliances
· Annual services and habitation checks
· Warranty diagnosis and repairs
· Major carpentry rebuilds and insurance repairs
· Re sealing and damp repairs
· Accessory fits, solar panels, motor movers, bike racks, awnings, reverse cameras and tv aerials
Successful applicants should have industry qualifications or a good practical, multi skilled background with experience in the motor trade, engineering, plumbing, carpentry or electronics. Training will be provided as necessary.
Caravan technicians who are currently working in the industry but are yet to obtain their qualifications will also be considered.
Successful candidates must have superb attention to detail, will have a tidy, organised mentality and will be physically fit, reliable, hardworking, have a positive attitude, able to work as part of our friendly team and can use their own initiative.
This is a full time, permanent position with an immediate start date available. The position is for a 5-day week, working Monday – Friday 8.00 – 4:30pm.
We will offer an extremely competitive salary for the right candidate including a rewarding workshop bonus scheme. Starting basic can be discussed depending on each candidate’s previous experience, but we would expect a minimum OTE of £25,000. In additional to the basic salary there is further earning potential with overtime.

We are currently looking for an experienced Caravan and Motorhome repair technician to join our team working at our Caravan and motorhome service and repair Centre in Blackburn due to further expansion.

Nice friendly working atmosphere with excellent working conditions.



Working 8.00am - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday with possibility of working Saturdays during our busier periods



40 hours per week Monday - Friday.



Must be highly experienced in all aspects of damp and body repairs in caravans and motorhome’s. Acops gas or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential.



Would be good if applicants have there own tools but can be provided otherwise.



Applicant must have good communication skills, have experience dealing with customers on a daily basis.



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent



Pay: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 + overtime + performance bonus.

This customer booked in for a fridge service and we noticed the brakes to be insufficient when moving it around our workshop . So with further inspection we came across this. The
brake shoe linings had completely detached.

Nice old Bailey ranger in this week for a full service and a damp repair to the front.
The window hinge rail had been leaking for a while causing considerable water ingress and damp/rot issues.
New front window surround fabricated in house and all back together with new window rubber and awning rail gasket.
All ready for getting away in the sun this summer ☀️☀️☀️🕶🕶🕶

Job role would be helping out with repairs / servicing of caravans and motorhomes and cleaning + maintenance of the workshop.
Could lead to a full apprenticeship to the right candidate for caravan and motorhome service and repairs.
