Our wonderful admin Ellie & her friend have recently started up The Unchosen Project, a project to help rescues get the visibility and support they need. I would be very grateful if you all went over and gave them a follow/shared their posts! xx
We're here for the animals who are too often overlooked.
With rescues and foster homes across Birmingham and the UK at capacity, more animals than ever are waiting for help.
Our mission is to support rescues and fosterers by raising awareness, increasing visibility for long-stay and urgent animals, and helping fund vital care.
Every share helps an animal get seen. Every donation helps an animal get support. Every adoption changes a life.
Because no animal should be left unchosen. ❤️🐾

Reminder that Gemma is running the Redditch half marathon this weekend raising funds for Left Paw Cat Rescue!!
She’s £60 off the 1k target which is an absolutely incredible amount to have raised for the rescue, truly cannot believe it!! We’d have been so lost without some of these donations coming through. If anyone else would like to donate so we can reach the goal of 1k that would be incredible 🙏🏻 # # #

ADOPTION POST - to be adopted together.
After being born and living outside for the first 12 weeks of their lives, these two gorgeous girls are finally ready for adoption at almost 8 months old!
Cinnamon
Cinnamon is an adorable little character with a big personality. She’s the most confident and sociable of the bunch, always curious about what’s going on and ready for playtime. She loves her toys, enjoys climbing and exploring, and will happily keep you entertained with her cheeky antics. Despite her mischievous side, she’s incredibly affectionate and starts purring as soon as she’s being stroked. A very loving and playful kitten who will bring lots of fun to her future home.
Nutmeg
Nutmeg is a sweet and gentle little girl with the cutest chirpy voice — you’ll often hear her chatting away throughout the day. She can be a little shy at first, but once she trusts you she absolutely loves fuss and attention. The smallest of the three, she has a calm and cosy nature and especially adores her cat tree, where she can usually be found curled up in her favourite top spot for an afternoon nap. A lovely, affectionate kitten who just needs a little time to blossom.
Both girls are chipped, neutered and flead/wormed. They are fine with other cats!

Urgently needed foster for Honey and her 5 kittens (7 weeks old - the ones in the vid!)
And Rosy and her 5 kittens (3 weeks old)
They have been in the same household the whole time so can either be fostered together (would still need separate rooms/cages etc) or fostered separately. Extremely desperate so please let me know if you can help out as soon as possible and I’ll send over the foster form 🙏🏻
Everything is provided for you whilst fostering, need to be as close to Kings Heath as poss so can use our vets in maypole or bromsgrove! Reminder kittens are vulnerable up until 12 weeks old so whilst all healthy at the moment there is chance that they will go downhill, you need to be mentally prepared for the possibility of losing some and also willing to hand feed if needed HOWEVER it is extremely rewarding and fun looking after kittens! Thank you 🙏🏻

Another foster fail 👀 Surprised I’ve got any cats left up for adoption at this point!🤣
Pebble & Luna have been officially adopted by the lovely family that took them in after they were abandoned by their owner in the garden due to her son’s allergies..🤦🏻♀️
Luckily they had a wonderful family living next door who were feeding them until they found a rescue space, then fostered them for us and now are officially adopting them🥰Never had cats before or weren’t even sure on fostering them in the first place as it was all new to them but Pebble & Luna have stolen their hearts and made themselves so at home they can’t let them go!
Happy new home day Pebble & Luna😻

Whisper (on the right) has finally been adopted, just shy of a whole year in rescue!
Whisper, who was renamed Skye, came in after being found eating out of binbags with her 3x 4 week old kittens, Socks Oreo and Flora. Even though they also took a while to be adopted, they were all adopted last year and Skye was still waiting to be put up for adoption as had made little progress. She was moved to a new foster home as her foster mom moved house, where she found a friend in one of her new fosters cats. They have become best friends and the foster has decided to add Skye to her tribe🥰
Happy new home day Skye!
