Last at orders at the bar. 🥴
Goal setting.
When setting your goals remember not to set the bar so high that you’ll never reach it. Instead set yourself a big goal, then set some mini goals along the way to help you reach the big one.
Having something to aim towards can help you stay the course.
Don’t try and do it all at once, you’ll burn yourself out and then give up. Try chipping away at it day by day keeping that consistency throughout.
Sometimes you just won’t feel like it, but that’s where discipline comes in. Take it one day at a time. Doing something is better than nothing after all.

Pure cardio last night! ✅
Plyometric cardio circuit this morning. ✅
Over the past 6 months my fitness has some what declined as you can see from my V02 Max. Description in the pictures if you don’t know what that is.
In my younger years, I would workout for the way I looked.. I already felt good so why would I need to work on performance?
Now being near 40, (37 🫠) I work towards performance instead of aesthetics.
Now just in this passed week, my V02 Max has improved. In just 5 days! Being consistent. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone.
Work on getting strong and improving circulation and heart strength. Lift weights and work on getting strong. There are so many benefits to lifting no matter what age you are.
Get out and move, go for a walk or what ever makes you feel good. Do what you enjoy. that way, your likely to keep it up.
I enjoy killing myself with super intense things like insanity. I’m not satisfied unless Iv left a puddle of sweat behind. But that’s me. 😅

If you want to burn fat, you’ll find it a hell of a lot easier if you build muscle.
Your body will burn more fat at rest with more muscle on board.
Don’t get caught up with how many calories you burn in a workout. It really isn’t that bigger deal. Focus on the bigger picture. Which is how many calories you burn in a day and over the course of the week.
Today was a recovery day for me. It don’t mean I just don’t exercise. Get out and get moving. For me, I did some functional weights at a RPE of 4-5 which is moderate. Then did a mile walk.
If you need help with health, fat loss or all round fitness give us a shout.

Start the day right.
Resistance training, working on form and technique with some compound movements in the form of deadlifts and then some Bulgarian split squats.
Finished off with a 5k.

Resistance training before cardio. Always.
Building muscle is what’s going to help you burn fat and keep it off in the long run.
It’s not about how many calories you burn during a workout, so don’t get caught up in all that. You’ll end up ruining your workout and you’ll feel like crap because you feel you have burnt enough.
Don’t be afraid of taking rest days. There just as important as the workouts.
Your workout counts for 10% of your days calorie burn. It’s in your rest period that you’ll burn more.
If you need help understanding it all and are serious about getting in shape, give me a shout. 👌

Nutrition is all about balance.
Do I eat the whole pie? (Pizza pie 😉)
I could! Easily! But the answer is No.
By restricting yourself of the foods you love, you doom yourself in succeeding in your health and fitness goals.
Moderation is your friend.
If your on a reduced calorie plan, you need to look at it like this.. can I see myself eating like this for the foreseeable? If the answer is no, then you need to make some changes as you’ll loose the weight, stop the plan and put the weight (and mostly more) back on again.
Make your health and fitness goals a life style.
