It’s been a while since I’ve actually posted something. We’ve had so much going on recently it’s just been a big adjustment (with more to come soon). This fellow() has been such a great support to us during this time, and we can’t thank him enough.

Trying something a little different with this portrait. Some have felt disturbed by this or just curious to it's intention. I'm interested to hear your thoughts/feelings to this type of portraiture.

Man! It's been a minute, so much going on while still being stuck indoors. I know I've posted pics of my watch before, it just so happened that I had the challenge to capture details. Whenever I think of details I think of this watch, a gift from my wife.

It's actually quite difficult to capture something with minute detail since the sensor and lenses you use all play a part in capturing the fine lines. Thankfully with the help of my strobe and some post-editing tricks I took as far as I could.

it's not lost on me the references to time in this post. :P

Isolation can be difficult, for me, I have managed to find a lot of peace and comfort. I'm not sure that's 'normal' but I think it's necessary in order to survive mentally through this pandemic. It's not to say that I don't enjoy being around others, but I am comfortable in my own head. I know it's not the same for a lot of people. How do you deal with isolation?

“Cleanse” - I love to shower, saying that out loud feels weird. It’s almost therapeutic in a way as I imagine I’m either getting rid of a (bad/hard) day or starting fresh for a new one. Maybe it’s just me?
