RIVES 2026, what an incredible 3 days!!
We brought together passionate minds around one shared goal: advancing the way we understand and treat hernia. From live surgeries and real-time dissections to interactive questions and dynamic discussions, every moment was designed to push boundaries and actively engage everyone in the room.
The energy, the exchanges, and the depth of the conversations made this first edition truly special. We hope each participant leaves with new insights to elevate their daily practice.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to making RIVES a reality: faculty members, participants, and partners.
And this is just the beginning. We’re already looking forward to coming back with even more debates, dissections, and opportunities to share and grow together.
See you soon ✨

🎥 What is the RIVES Congress really about?
In this video, Yohann Renard takes you inside the RIVES Congress and explains what makes it fundamentally different from a traditional surgical meeting.
RIVES is not about passive listening. It is about learning by doing, questioning techniques, debating decisions, and translating anatomy directly into surgical action.
From chalk-drawn anatomy to live cadaveric surgery, from real-life cases to collective decision-making, RIVES places participants at the centre of the experience. You don’t just observe: you engage, you choose, and you challenge.
This video captures the spirit of the congress, its educational philosophy, and its ambition: to create a truly immersive, interactive, and transformative learning environment for hernia surgeons.
