Rainy day in Paris is still romantic

- Silves History Guest House part of Boutique hotels offer serenity within their accommodations. We were able to relax in the pool and beautiful room while planning our next country to visit.

Forget Barcelona! The city of León has so much more to offer. León's historical and architectural heritage will have you mesmerized. The local dishes and wine are so flavorful.
A festival they have every year is "The Burial of Genarín". Genarín was an alcoholic beggar who was hit and killed by the first garbage truck in the city of León in the year 1929. This is a celebration of alcohol, and the main purpose of the people who attend it is getting drunk in honor to the alcoholic beggar 🍻

One of the finest examples of French-style classic Gothic architecture in Spain. The carvings here are just stunning.

An absolute masterpiece of flavors. Toro Tartare topped with white chocolate flakes and lime zest 😍 a new favorite! The local oysters, croaker ceviche, torched sardines, and giant Carabinero Tamaño prawns.
Our last meal in Lisbon. The food is very fresh, a combination of simple and intricate dishes that will have you returning. We sat at the bar, the service was impeccable. The chef prepared the dishes as we drooled. They offer fresh seafood from the market case in addition to menu items. The wine menu paired excellently.

By far the best place we have eaten in Lisbon!
The Octopus Benedict was amazing. Served on a croissant with potatoes and delicious sauce. The omelet was fresh and spiced with cardamom. Washed it down with white sangria. Would definitely recommend dining here.

It's been a full year of projects. Happy, Grateful, and now taking time for wandering the world again. Cheers!
