L’enveloppe agit comme un filtre qui brouille les frontières et permet de capter l’atmosphère extérieure tout en protégeant l’ambiance des espaces intérieurs. La teinte cuivrée de l’ensemble de l’enveloppe renforce le lien avec la nature au même temps qu’elle met en valeur l’identité constructive du bâtiment.

Natural textures on the floor, ceiling and main façade are preserved in order to accentuate the paths towards the  stream landscape. The extension is supported by a column and a beam that structure the new living space.
