A goat wanders quietly across the scene, while Pablo Picasso’s Spring (1956) hangs in the background, opening the space to another landscape.

An English interior overlooking the shore at Sidmouth.
A quiet room: a chair, a book left open, a cup of tea slowly cooling.
The only trace of a presence appears in the framed silhouette on the chest of drawers - a discreet witness to the scene.

Un intérieur anglais surplombant le rivage de Sidmouth.
Une pièce silencieuse : un fauteuil, un livre abandonné, une tasse de thé qui refroidit.
La seule trace d’une présence apparaît dans le profil en ombre posé sur la commode, témoin discret de la scène.
