Very rare propaganda poster marking the 37th anniversary of the October Revolution.
The center shows the USSR coat of arms with hammer and sickle over a globe, framed by wheat sheaves carrying ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ! (Workers of the world, unite!) in the languages of the sixteen Soviet republics, a count that only held from 1940 to 1956.
СЛАВА РОДИНЕ ОКТЯБРЯ! (Glory to the October Motherland!) runs in red along the bottom, bracketed by 1917 and 1954.
On the left, the cruiser Aurora, whose blank shot on 25 October 1917 signaled the storming of the Winter Palace.
On the right, a Kremlin tower with its ruby star under a sky of fireworks.
Issued in 1954, the year after Stalin’s death, while the USSR was navigating the collective leadership of Malenkov and Khrushchev.
Designed by V. Viktorov, published by IZOGIZ (State Fine Arts Publishing House) in Moscow on 15 June 1954, printed at the Dunayev factory in 500,000 copies.

The satellite, marked with a red star, is shown overlooking the Earth against the vastness of space. The main inscription reads СЛАВА СОВЕТСКОЙ НАУКЕ! (« Glory to Soviet science! ») in blue calligraphic letters, accompanied by a quote from Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, the father of astronautics, dedicating his work on rocketry and interplanetary communications to the Bolshevik party and the Soviet authorities.

Raketa 24-hour commemorative dial marking 50 years of the Naval Radiotechnical Service of the Soviet/Russian Navy.
The service was established in 1943, during the Great Patriotic War, to handle radar detection and fleet communications, and it continued under the Russian Navy after 1991. This dial likely dates from 1993, the anniversary year.
The arc reads РАДИОТЕХНИЧЕСКАЯ СЛУЖБА ВМФ, with 50 ЛЕТ in red above a stylized radar antenna.
The iconography is telling: the Soviet naval ensign with hammer, sickle and red star sits next to the St. Andrew’s Cross, the tsarist Russian Navy flag restored in January 1992.
Caliber 2623.H 24-hour movement, 40 mm gold plated case, black leather strap with 18 mm lugs. Serial 171 on the case back.
Fully serviced by our master watchmaker on 28 March 2026: movement overhaul, crystal polished, case cleaned. 6-month warranty.

Made in 1967 for the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution, this carved wooden panel is pure Soviet space-age iconography: the Vostok 1 rocket that carried Gagarin into orbit on 12 April 1961, the Sputnik satellite that opened the space race on 4 October 1957, the Earth they both circled, the hammer-and-sickle flag, and the five-pointed star.
The 50th anniversary in 1967 was one of the largest commemorative campaigns in Soviet history, and pieces like this were produced as ideological wall art for clubs, schools, factories, and party offices across the USSR.
Hand-carved in wood, 32 × 20 cm.

This watch is both Soviet and French. A genuine Franco-Soviet hybrid, assembled in Besançon with a Soviet movement, and one of the most fascinating chapters of Cold War watchmaking.
Slava S.A. was founded in Besançon in 1961 with majority Soviet capital. At its peak, the factory assembled around 280,000 watches per year, pairing Soviet movements (Slava, Raketa, Poljot, Zaria) with French cases, dials, and straps.
The inscription “МЕХАНИЗМ СССР” on the dial is the signature mark of these Besançon-assembled pieces. The industrial park on rue Auguste Jouchoux still carries the Slava name today.
The dial celebrates Perestroika (ПЕРЕСТРОЙКА), the great restructuring program launched by Mikhail Gorbachev in 1986, paired with Glasnost (openness).
A paradoxical object, a regime celebrating its own transformation through the visual codes of Soviet constructivism.
36 mm case, white dial with red horizontal stripes, red five-pointed star, stylized hammer and sickle. 21 jewels mechanical movement. Serial S 120100 engraved on the caseback.
Light grey suede-style leather strap.
Serviced by our master watchmaker on March 16, 2026: mechanism revised, plexiglass polished, hands and dial cleaned. 6-month warranty.

A Soviet Raketa world time watch, caliber 2623N, featuring an upgraded dial with Lenin’s portrait.
The silver dial displays a red profile of Lenin surmounted by a red star bearing the hammer and sickle, with the inscriptions ЛЕНИН and СДЕЛАНО В РОССИИ. The rotating inner bezel lists cities and scientific stations across the globe including Moscow, London, Geneva, Novosibirsk, and the Antarctic stations Novolazarevskaya, Syowa, Mawson and Bellingshausen, allowing simultaneous reading of multiple time zones.
The caliber 2623N is a hand-wound 24-hour movement produced at the Raketa factory in Petrodvorets, heir to the manufacture founded by Peter the Great in 1721.
This movement was designed for Soviet polar expeditions, where the sun never sets for months at a time and a standard 12-hour dial becomes meaningless.
Case diameter 40mm, caseback engraved 069. Burgundy leather strap 18mm.
Tested and in perfect working order, sold with a 6-month warranty.

A Soviet Ukrainian propaganda poster from January 11, 1963, published by the State Publishing House “Мистецтво” (Art) in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR.
The title reads “1 ТРАВНЯ!” meaning May 1st in Ukrainian.
Three faces of different origins look outward against a blue globe, surrounded by the word “peace” in six languages : МИР, PEACE, PAIX, FRIEDEN, PAZ, 和平.
A message of international solidarity, printed in 30,000 copies and sold for 10 kopecks.
The timing is striking. This poster was produced just months after the Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962, the moment the world came closest to nuclear war.
While Khrushchev paraded missiles across Red Square that same May Day, this poster chose a different message entirely.
Dimensions with custom frame : 98x75 cm. Anti-reflective glass.
All our posters are 100% original.

A Soviet Raketa Big Zero “Geigher”, one of the most mysterious and sought-after watches in the world of Soviet horology.
The dial is unmistakable : a black background divided into four ochre sectors at 0, 3, 6 and 9, with the words “CAUTION”, “CONTACT” and “GAIGHER” printed around the central subdial.
The design is a direct reference to a Geiger counter, the instrument used to measure radioactivity.
The name on the dial however reads “Geigher” rather than “Geiger”, a misspelling that collectors believe may have been deliberate, produced in the shadow of Chernobyl in 1986, to avoid any uncomfortable association. “Сделано в СССР” at 9 o’clock.
The story of this watch connects the Soviet Union and Italy. In the late 1980s, an Italian import company called Mirabilia assembled these watches using original Raketa Big Zero parts with a unique local touch.
Two variants exist, black and ochre, and black and gray. Both are extremely rare.
Be aware that poor quality fakes of this model circulate on the market. This is an authenticated original.
Chromed brass case, 39mm. Mechanical movement, manually wound.
Serviced by our master watchmaker on March 16, 2026, sold with a 6-month warranty.
