Kensaki marking knife - The Kensaki is a marking knife used in traditional Japanese woodworking. Its thin, single-bevel blade scores the wood with exceptional precision. Hand-forged by Yoshihide Sakamitsu in Sanjō from laminated high-carbon White Steel No. 2 with a hammered Tsuchime finish. Available online

Inspired by : Surrounded by Mediterranean pines, Casa Ugalde (1951) was designed by José Antonio Coderch to adapt to the existing landscape rather than reshape it. The house follows the topography, preserves the trees, and frames views of the sea through architecture.
Entourée de pins méditerranéens, la Casa Ugalde (1951) de José Antonio Coderch s’inscrit dans le paysage plutôt que de le remodeler. La maison suit la topographie du terrain, préserve les arbres existants et compose avec les vues sur la mer.

One of our favorite architecture nestled among the trees 💭 Pearlman cabin in Idyllwild, California. Designed by architect John Lautner and built in 1957.
L’une de nos architectures préférées nichées parmi les arbres. La cabane Pearlman à Idyllwild, en Californie. Conçue par l’architecte John Lautner et construite en 1957.

Hypnotic to look at, the twisted form is equally compelling to the touch. The idea of grip guided the development of three new brush typologies: a table brush, a kitchen brush and a vegetable brush. Each twist was refined, sculpted or extended to create a precise, intuitive hold tailored to its specific use.
Visuellement hypnotique, la torsade se révèle également très attractive au toucher. La notion de préhension a guidé le développement de trois nouvelles typologies : une brosse de table, un pinceau de cuisine et une brosse à légumes. Les torsades ont été affinées, taillées ou étirées afin d’offrir une prise en main précise et adaptée à chaque usage.
