Si vous écoutez ma musique, vous avez sûrement entendu :
“Koté T-Man ?”

C’est une phrase que ma mère disait souvent quand on était enfants.

Elle cherchait toujours mon petit frère … qui n’était jamais à la maison.

Aujourd’hui c’est devenu une petite signature dans ma musique 😄

If you listen carefully to my music, you’ve probably heard me say: “Koté T-man?”

It’s something my mother used to say when we were kids.

She was always looking for my younger brother … who was never home.

Today it became a small signature in my music 😄

🇫🇷 TOUT DOUX est une chanson d’amour.

Mais j’y ai aussi samplé le jingle de la série Languichatte Debordus, créée par mon père. C’était ma manière à moi de lui rendre hommage. Et c’est la première fois que je fais une chanson avec mon frère

But I also sampled the jingle from Languichatte Debordus, the show created by my father. It was my way of paying tribute to him. And it’s the first song I made with my brother

🇫🇷’PEUR BLEUE’ est une chanson d’amour.

Mais elle contient aussi un sample d’une chanson très connue en Haïti du groupe , fondé par mon frère.

C’est une manière de faire vivre cet héritage musical dans mon propre univers.

But it also contains a sample from a very famous Haitian song by , the band created by my brother.

It’s my way of carrying that musical heritage into my own work.

🇫🇷 ‘BEAUTIFUL DAY’ est une chanson très spéciale pour moi.

Je voulais écrire une chanson simple, presque comme un message : pourquoi ne pas juste être heureux et sympas les uns avec les autres ?

Toute ma famille a chanté les chœurs sur cette chanson.

À la fin, on entend aussi la voix d’un poète haïtien.

🇬🇧 ‘BEAUTIFUL DAY’ is a very special song for me.

I wanted to write something simple, almost like a message:
why can’t we just be kind and happy with each other?

My whole family recorded the background vocals.

And at the end, you can hear the voice of a Haitian poet.

🇫🇷 TI SOURIT est inspirée d’une chanson traditionnelle haïtienne que j’écoutais beaucoup pendant les carnavals.

Le carnaval en Haïti était ma période préférée quand j’étais enfant.

Cette chanson est aussi un hommage à mes élèves et à toutes les personnes qui dansent sur ma musique.

Carnival in Haiti was my favorite time of the year growing up.

This song is also a tribute to my students and everyone who dances to my music.

Dans cette chanson, j’ai samplé une musique du groupe Boukman Eksperyans, le groupe de mon frère.

C’est une manière pour moi de reconnecter avec mes racines haïtiennes et avec la musique qui m’a construit.

Si vous avez vu mon premier clip RÒF, vous comprendrez peut-être que Wango est un peu comme une suite.

For this song, I sampled music from Boukman Eksperyans, my brother’s band.
