The Mute. 220 sqm of Haussmannian light in eastern Paris, dressed entirely in white.
Old-world plasterwork meets contemporary furniture, and warm brown-stained wood quietly anchors every room. A conversation between heritage and modernity that never raises its voice. By 🤍

I visited a new friend Amy , founder of Keur-Amy Langseth at her studio and left completely obsessed! Every bag she makes is intentional, considered, and honestly unliIke anything I’ve seen. The kind of craftsmanship you don’t stumble upon easily.
She’s still under the radar. For now. 😌
Sharing with you a day in my life here in Paris.
Started with French class because living here means actually trying to belong here. Then somehow the afternoon led me to the Hôtel de Crillon ,a historic palace hotel overlooking Place de la Concorde, known for its timeless interiors and quiet kind of luxury, catching up with a friend like it was the most ordinary thing.
It wasn’t. It never is.
This city keeps surprising me. 🖤

From classic to modern, rustic to minimal, the paper lantern just fits. It softens the room, diffuses the light, and rounds out even the sharpest architectural edges without demanding any attention. 🏮
Are you into paper lanterns, or do you prefer a more structured statement light? 🧐

Nour Arida’s () Paris apartment was designed to feel like a little piece of Beirut — a pied-à-terre that keeps her connected to Lebanon while living in France.
Architect Carl Gerges built the whole interior around warmth and softness: a caramel sofa, a pink kitchen, milky whites throughout. Nothing sharp, nothing cold. The palette reads as indulgent without trying. It’s the kind of space that feels like it was chosen for comfort first and aesthetics second, even though both are clearly considered.
What’s easy to miss is the restraint underneath it all. The softness works because it’s disciplined. Every piece earns its place in the same tonal story.
→ Save this if you’re building a warm, tonal interior from scratch.

French architect Antoinette Zalewski transformed this St Germain residence from two separate units into a seamless, elevated whole. New parquet floors, restored panelling, a bespoke staircase, and custom rugs. Every detail shaped by skilled French craftsmen and a serene, neutral palette drawn from the colours of Paris itself. ✨
