What if settling on the French Riviera as an expat wasn’t just about finding an apartment… but about creating a place that truly feels like home?

That was the challenge we embraced for an American couple who decided to start a new chapter of their lives here.

The husband is a publisher with an extensive book collection. We designed a custom-built entry library to maximize storage while creating a striking visual feature.

Every detail matters: from the ornate mirror concealing a TV screen to the water-vapor inserts added to the existing fireplaces.

For the couple’s bedroom, we created a warmer, more enveloping atmosphere with deep blue tones and custom-made furniture to structure the space. On the floor, we chose solid chevron parquet with brass inserts and a border inlay detail.

Finally, the former storage room was completely transformed into a dedicated space for the wife, featuring built-in storage, a desk, and a guest bed. A soft, functional retreat.

A home that truly feels like their own. And what if that were the true definition of luxury?

Today we meet at Palais Saint-Pierre to discover our latest renovation. This place carries a quiet but powerful story. Built in the 20th century, the men who worked on this building left to fight during the Second World War and never came back. It was their wives and their children who lived here and kept the palace alive through the years. From the very entrance, our intention was to create a dialogue between past and present. The walls are painted in a soft lavender blue, a color that gently resonates with the delicate tones of the cement tiles, highlighting the soul of the place. In the dining room area, the kitchen has been completely open onto the space. A large arch connects the two areas, creating a natural flow between cooking and gathering. Originally, this room was a reception room. We divided it in two to create a home cinema. Finally, in the living room, we chose simplicity. The walls were repainted in a soft ivory tone, allowing the existing architectural elements to remain the true storytellers of this historic apartment. A renovation guided by one idea: respect history, while gently writing a new chapter.
