The 1935 J. Harry Howard faceting workshop corner in the Faceting Museum is now about finished! It’s so cool to have the full workshop of a pioneer American gemcutter on display!

I missed Thanksgiving by a few days (whoops) but I just wanted to say how thankful I am of the community of cutters and book readers and gem lovers that has developed around me over the past decade. I’m so thankful that you read these words and watch my videos and buy our books and come and say hi at live events. I’m thankful that you invite us to do your events and share posts about our books and comment on my YouTube videos.
I know what it’s like to spend a decade working towards something you really care about and not having it reap any rewards at all (that was the last chapter of my life), so I’m especially grateful to have spent over a decade sharing my passion for gemcutting and have my efforts be heard and seen and received and rewarded, with friendships and connections, as well as finances.
I really appreciate you. Thank you.

Here’s something that we have never seen in the world of modern Faceting a three and one machine that can go from jambpeg to mast to Handpiece and is in a portable weight with a modern feature set. This is only the prototype but I can’t wait to see what’s coming next year from .fr
