Good news ! StepPolyArp goes to version 5!

Although version 5 focuses a lot on randomness and polyrhythm, many functions have been improved and added.

Each event can now have random behaviors, such as a range of pitch, gate, velocity generated randomly in real time. Each event can also be triggered according to the cycle, for example an event can occur once out of 3, or 4 times out of 7 according to a fully configurable pattern.

A new random generation panel allows you to create or modify a pattern by indicating rules.

At the polyrhythmic level, each line can have a time division different from the main division.

Each event can have its own gate, velocity and each line can now be muted.

In addition to the integrated musical scales, it is possible to easily create your own personalized scale.

The app and AUv3 works on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

The update is free from owners of StepPolyArp version 4 and later (2018).

What will be the next update of StepPolyArp? Version 4.6 or version 5.0? What else to add? Lines with clock dividers? Lines with colors? More probabilities? A mix of all of these? Or just bug fixes and a version 4.5.2? Who knows? 😁
