🚜 WE’RE HIRING – DIGGER OPERATOR

Pacific Building Solutions is looking for an experienced and reliable Digger Operator to join our team.

📍Suva based.

✅ Minimum 5 years’ experience operating diggers/excavators
✅ Valid driver’s licence
✅ Strong understanding of site safety requirements
✅ Able to work independently and within a team
✅ Reliable, hardworking, and punctual

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
• Safe and efficient operation of excavation machinery
• Excavation and earthworks activities
• Daily machine checks and basic maintenance
• Compliance with site instructions and safety procedures

Great to be back in Taveuni this week to see progress at Waiyevo Subdivisional Hospital.

We also took the opportunity to deliver safeguards training with the community and contractors - a key part of ensuring projects are delivered responsibly and safely.

This visit reinforced a few key fundamentals for a successful delivery in complex environments:
- Early planning for long-lead procurement items
- ECI and strong QA of designs to de-risk delivery and ensure a fit for purpose design
- Close collaboration with hospital teams, contractors and designers to carefully stage works in a live, brownfield environment
- Strong Work Programing and transparent reporting.

Proud to see the momentum on the ground and the quality of work being delivered. 65% complete and due to finish mid year 👌🏼
