Bula everyone! It's been a while since our last post. We have been trying to adjust and settle back in to our home here in Fiji after almost 7 months away in Chennai, India. Juliet was 9 months old when we went for her treatment for Leukemia and she came back 1 year 5 months old. For almost 3 weeks we both tried to get our body clock back on Fiji time lol. Yes it took me almost 3 weeks! Juliet's first night spent at home after coming back... She was trying to adjust to her Daddy and sisters sleeping beside her. Lillian and especially Lotus are on their best guard that we shall never leave their side for such a long period of time. Isa my sweet daughters. Oh how we have missed you all. I woke up around 1am and found Juliet sitting up and staring at her father fast asleep. I hugged her tightly and whispered in her ear.. We are finally home my girl and only God, Jesus, Mother Mary, Saint Joseph and all the Saints know how hard and how much I have prayed and cried about this day. I have brought back so much and learnt a lot of lessons from this journey. The most important of them all... NEVER STOP PRAYING AND HAVING FAITH. When all else fails and there is no one left to turn to, he is there and is always present and listening. Even when all hope is lost, just pray and give thanks to God. I pinch myself at times to check if we are really back and Juliet is with us, honestly! The amount of times we've seen Juliet hanging by a thread to life and the amount of times we have been told to prepare ourselves for the worst.... God is truly in this story! We are just so so grateful to be back home.

Juliet is recovering really well and adjusting to this heat. She's on daily medication and she has a very big appetite. She loves boiled vegetables especially pumpkin, baigan, okra and carrots. We can't see her putting on weight but she definitely feels heavier. She has reached an important milestone where she is beginning to walk and it's just a beautiful thing to watch. I haven't taken much photos or videos lately as I have been settling back in to family life and enjoying all the things I have truly missed. I was supposed to start work beginning of this month as I only had 2 weeks of leave left before I returned to work. I have taken another month off work as I have a few things to sort out before I can officially start. I am so so grateful to my employer ANZ, for the support, understanding and compassion during this time. I truly am blessed. I will post up photos and videos when I can of Juliet’s amazing progress.
