2014 Ready for duty
Great news our YAXING bus has been delivered successfully to BA Body Builders for the repairs. Our skilled driver Arvind, escorted by directors Niraj and Aman and our site mechanic aka Kuti and the master of tyres Matatini. Wishing you guys a safe journey back to the east. GOD SPEED!
One of our new buses which was damaged by a falling post will be transported to the repair shop today. Public is advised to approach or take pass with caution. The bus will be escorted by Director's of metro bus.

Updates on our Local Build / Restore Metrobus's latest addition.
Metrobus director Aman Singh, picked up the bus from the Builders and drove it to the Metrobus Depot, we have scheduled electrical fit out as well as the air system once this is done it will be out for registration and will be put out in service. Looking forward to the reaction from the public when they see this on the roads servicing the people of Lami and outer areas.

We are happy to say that our new buses have reached that time where the break in service is required. Our experience with the buses have been somewhat challenging, new technology with features the locals have not seen or worked with. We are happy that we can say we have not had a breakdown with any of our new buses and now that the engines powered by Garrett turbos have been broken in we can sit back and just watch these buses sore to the clouds. We thankyou all for using our service and we are constantly researching and developing ways in which we can make our service safer and also efficient. Stay tuned for more updates.

Safety Features of our Buses.
We have a Voith Retarders on our New buses. Assuring Safety of our drivers and passengers at all times.
Updates on Metrobus, we have had a couple teething issues with the new buses.
Drivers are getting used to the new technology and with the EFI engines and warning system issues are easily resolved our maximum down time for any breakdown has been less then 30 minutes as issues were either rectified on location or by an engineer who is sent out to the respective location, our strategy is to provide consistent service.
Real life problems encountered are all human errors. Either by the manufacture not torquing the hose clips properly or the drivers aggressiveness.
The drivers are used to the old buses and technology and tend to apply the same method of use on the new buses. We have countered this by providing intensive training (briefing) prior to assigning a new bus to the driver. We notice this has dramatically reduced issues that could have possibly been caused by the drivers. On the other hand our engineers have rectified faults in the design of some subsystems of the buses. Reports have been sent back to the manufacture for consideration and future improvements. Establishing a strong relationship with the manufactures and level of tolerance with the drivers improve the service as a whole.
Now on to the new buses.
We are still less then a week in service and have faced issues, these issues include alarms generated by low coolant fluid, failed temp sensors, failure of the windshield wiper mechanism and electronics. We still believe the overall design of the bus is solid and with the little fixes we have made this is looking more to be a very positive investment for both the companies SBL and METROBUS.
Our service engineers thoroughly document each case as we have setup logs for each job, rectification and aftermarket replacements which are compatible if in the case that there are no possible OEM replacements at the time of breakdown. Saving the day!!!
Hideaway resort staff had arranged coastline a bus charter to have them transferred to Suva, but broke down. They arrived in Suva 10am and had been waiting for the repairs on the broken down bus to complete.
After several hours of waiting they charted metro 45 seater. Our service was prompt and had started boarding 10 minutes after they confirmed.
