A toothy smile, bright eyes and a warm handshake, at once, you are at ease

A beautiful spirit, a kindred soul, a brother you will forever make

He is not brash, he listens intently
When he speaks, wisdom flows from a golden heart
Kindness and simplicity, a pillar of older brethren that gather weekly

He will lend an ear to those who need to be heard
He speaks for the meek, bestowed with principle and graces
Mischievous, wonderful sense of humor, bordering the absurd

From the school, to the board, his love of work showed
Faithful, present, call to duty never snubbed
Many he nurtured and taught, great debt is owed
And there is of course the mighty Marist Club!

An infallible sense of integrity he surely possessed
True blessing from our Lord for us
His manner, his character known from east to west
Our brother from Augustine, who became Alphonsus

To you who were blessed to be his family
Know that we hurt like you
We are in shock, God needed him urgently

He approaches the new and Eternal Jerusalem
Backpack slung over the shoulder
Wide smile on his face, he sees family, friends and Marist brethren

MOBA President, Maciu Manulevu, on behalf of the Marist Old Boys Association, deeply thanks all the donors that have contributed in cash and in kind to help the people of Bua that were adversly affected by TC Yasa.

We officially handover the container of donations to the Tikina of Kubulau, Bua in Vanua Levu. The support from Marist Old Boys, many who lined the road to welcome us was emotional.

In this video, MBHS old boy, Ratu Emeri Rabalenatosi explains how the relief items will be distributed according to needs. The headmen from each of the villages have been appointed to lead the distrubtions in their respective villages. We would like to now thank everyone that made it possible and would be acknowledging them in due course. God Bless.

Update 2 of the MOBA Relief trip. Interviewing the first team to register for the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's, the Black Herons from Makolei, Solevu in Bua. It's inspiring to see how their love of rugby hasn't been dampened by TC Yasa. Teams wanting to register for the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's please call the MRC at 9998896.
