๐ 2026: A Call to Shine with Grace and Strength ๐
As we step into this new year, let us remember that the measure of our lives is not found in perfection, but in the choices we make each day. Love is the language that opens hearts, laughter the medicine that restores weary souls, and faith the anchor that steadies us when the winds of uncertainty rise.
To shine in 2026 is to walk with courage and compassion, even when the road is difficult. It is to choose goodness over bitterness, hope over despair, and unity over division. When love guides your actions and faith grounds your steps, your life becomes a living testimony of resilience and light.
โจ May this year be one where your heart remains open, your spirit unshaken, and your laughter a reminder that joy still dwells among us. If these words stir something within you, share them โ and together, let us spread wisdom, hope, and love into the year ahead. โจ

Donโt ask why your child doesnโt love you when they grow up.
Love must be planted, not demanded. ๐ฑ
When theyโre young, their hearts are soft.. they absorb every word, every gesture.
If you fill those years with love, they grow confident and kind.
But if they grow up without it, theyโll search for that love elsewhere.
The love you plant today becomes the love that returns to you someday. โค๏ธ

FIJI PUNISHES REFORM โ NASILASILA & I ARE LIVING PROOF AND MANY OTHERS
Suva, 2.11.25
The FRU says Amenoni Nasilasila was banned from the Skipper Cup final because of โregistration issues.โ But everyone knows thatโs just the cover story. The truth is โ they were too afraid to let a reformed man rise again. They were afraid of forgiveness.
This country talks big about rehabilitation, second chances, and the Blue Ribbon Prison Program.
Even the whole Prison system and Policy has turned away from Punishment to reform and rehabilitation such that the Prison Act has evolved into Correction Act & Punishment evolved into reform and rehabilitation.
But the moment a man actually reforms and tries to come back, Fiji shuts the door. It preaches mercy โ but practices lifelong punishment. Thatโs the hard truth.
Nasilasila served his sentence. He did his time. Heโs not asking for favours โ just a fair go. Yet when he steps onto the field, the system says โno.โ Why? Because we still believe that once you fall, youโre finished forever. Thatโs not justice. Thatโs cruelty wearing a moral mask.
And I know that cruelty personally. I was released in December 2023 โ determined to rebuild my life, to contribute, to move forward. But nearly two years later, the government still refuses to restore my law practicing licence. Iโve served my punishment โ but Iโm still being punished every single day.
So letโs stop pretending we have a real rehabilitation system. If we truly believed in second chances, the reformed would be welcomed back โ not locked out.
If the Blue Ribbon Program really meant what it says โ to โput the prisoner back where he was beforeโ โ then Nasilasila would be playing, and I would be practicing.
Instead, Fiji sends the worst message possible: โYou can change all you want, but we will never let you forget.โ What hope does that give to any prisoner trying to rebuild? How can we talk about reform when we crush redemption the moment it appears?
Rugby is supposed to unite us. Law is supposed to serve justice. But both have become tools of exclusion when forgiveness is most needed. Itโs time to stop hiding behind rules and start standing up for whatโs right.
Fiji must decide what kind of nation it wants to be โ one that buries its fallen or one that helps them rise again. Because right now, Nasilasila and I are not fighting for fame or position โ we are fighting for the soul of what โreformโ really means in this country.
