Muslimiaktivisti Maryan Abdulkarim: ”Suomessa rasismista ja jopa rotuopista on tullut... Maryan Abdulkarim, 32, haaveili yläasteella lääkärin ammatista, m***a opinto-ohjaaja kehotti opiskelemaan lähihoitajaksi. Se oli hänestä sopivampi vaihtoehto somalitytölle. Maryanista ei tullut kumpaakaan vaan rasismin vastustaja ja musliminaisten äänitorvi.

The aim is to convert these cases into an annual report that will highlight these situations and raise awareness of racism in Finland.

The Finnish Immigration office has released a video in where they explain few features of the Finnish character to immigrants. What do you think of this? Enlightening and educative or patronising and outrageous?

Homelessness growing in Helsinki suburbs; immigrants hit hard A housing market survey by the Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland (ARA) has found an increase in the numbers of homeless in the Helsinki suburbs of Espoo and Vantaa over the past year. The phenomenon has hit immigrant families particularly hard.
