Ethiopian Environmental Protection Association has participated in 2021 editions of Green Legacy in August, 06, 2021. The plan is to plant seven billion trees. One billion of them will be planted in neighboring countries. This is part of the third tree planting campaign – which is Prime Minister Abiy’s flagship project.
Ethiopia is putting the environment at the center of its development process. This is the message that its Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed wanted to convey through the launch on Tuesday May 18th, 2021 of the third cycle of the “Green Legacy” programme. During this rainy season, the Ethiopian government wants to plant 6 billion trees throughout the country. The new campaign, which begins in May, is expected to accelerate until September 2021.

Ethiopian Environmental Consultant Association in collaboration of TS Environment held a half day meeting to celebrate the “World environment day” and discuss about the fate of the association in June 11/2021 at MADO Hotel. The members made a remarkable decision to strength the association and contribute its part to the green legacy of the country and other environmental issues. Such kinds of initiatives should be encouraged and each member should be committed for the strength of the association.
