Guess what 🤔🤔

We are all on the same road some are just ahead of others,When it’s not your time, don’t envy others.
And when it’s your time, stay humble and help others rise too.

Today, I write this congratulatory message as a proud son of this community one who has waited, watched, and wondered when our time would come to show the world what we are capable of.
I remember years ago seeing grand campaigns from other communities, like the famous youth mobilization of Deng Junior in Twic East. I once asked my father, “Why isn’t our community doing such big things?”
He calmly replied, “It is a matter of time. Atar has a lot of potential. You will see it in the coming days.”
I told him, “I look forward to it.”
And then, the very next year, it happened not as a surprise, but as a promise fulfilled.
Our community did not just hold an election. We conducted one of the most peaceful, transparent, and effective youth elections ever seen in our region. Other communities have since expressed deep appreciation for what we achieved. Let that sink in: Atar became an example.
I have carefully read the manifestos. From AYUD, two things truly stood out:
• An Annual Atar Cultural Gala; a bold and beautiful idea to unite us through our heritage.
• The empowerment of our girls; not just as a slogan, but through the Atar Girl Forum, safe spaces, and a clear 35% affirmative action.
From AYAE, even though they did not win the chairperson seat, their agenda was not without merit. In fact, when the need arises, even the ideas of those who did not win should never be left behind.
Imagine, for a moment, if the best ideas from both AYUD and AYAE were implemented over the next two years. Our community would not just be fortunate it would be transformed. Ready for new ideas. Ready for development. Ready for dignity.
One thing I appreciated above all else was the massive engagement of our youth young men and women showing up, standing in line, debating ideas, and choosing their leaders with their own hands. That is not small. That is the foundation of a nation.
Today, I extend my deepest congratulations:
• To Atar Youth United for Development (AYUD); for a well-articulated, action-driven manifesto and a hard-fought, credible victory.
• To Atar Youth Alliance for Empowerment (AYAE); for your vision, your courage to compete, and ideas that must not be forgotten. Losing an election does not mean losing relevance.
• To the Independent Electoral Committee (IEC); led by Mr.Daniel Tiek Miaker and Francis Jeremiah for conducting a peaceful and professional election under challenging conditions.
• To the general public, elders, religious leaders, and intellectuals for your guidance, wisdom, and blessings. Without you, the youth would have no foundation.
Thank you, and congratulations to the elected Chairperson, Mr. Yai Nuoi Thon Deng Tiir, and to every young person who believed that our time has come.
Humanity first. Unity always. Development gradually.

Gratitudes
Mr.Ngor Lual Monyluak
