OMG. It's real.
Maybe, I like cooking so much, because you turn ideas into reality. A mix of ingredients gets turned into a dish that people can actually enjoy.
When I was participating in the retreat, I stepped away from the kitchen counter and moved to a sketchbook. An idea slowly started to develop into a concept.
I have been sketching, refining, designing (with a lot of help of !) this thing for what feels like ages already. But now it's here: a Spice Ceremony Card Deck 😍

We hosted an interactive dinner in one of our favorite spots in Cabañal, Valencia.
And ofcourse the participants got to play with spices and discover new flavours.

Summer flavours 🍆🍅
Ovenroasted tomatoes with fennel seed, black garlic and mascarpone.
On top of Greek yoghurt with lemon zest, thyme, salt & pepper and black onion.
Topped with baked aubergine. A little drizzle of chili oil from .good.spice (a sample! Soon to be expected!), the juices from the baked tomatoes, fried pumpkin seeds and some fresh basil 🌿
It was a random throw together, but it worked out so well that I needed to write it down 😌
